TRANS> area is pleased to announce the inaugural opening of our new non-profit space with works by Paris-based artist Anri Sala in his first New York solo exhibition. On view are two video installations entitled Missing Landscape and Promises.
Anri Sala, born in Albania, received the Best Young Artist Award at the Venice Biennial this past summer.
Concurrently we are pleased to announce the launch of our latest publications: TRANS> arts.cultures.media #9/10 Double Issue; Popular Geometries, a catalogue of works by Anton Vidokle; and No Turisme, a project by Jonathan Hernández.
TRANS> is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization, and is supported by grants from the Rockefeller Foundation, The Andy Warhol Foundation, NEA, Conaculta, the Peter Norton Family Foundation, and La Colección Jumex, as well as by all of the Friends of TRANS>.
